Job Summary:

Multimatic Inc. is seeking a skilled E-Coat Process Technician to join our team at Multimatic Dynamic Suspensions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our e-coat process, including the control of waste-water and conveyor systems, analytical and instrumental analyses, and maintenance of process equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and monitor the e-coat waste-water and conveyor systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular analytical and instrumental analyses to ensure process stability and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance on process equipment, including filter systems, waste sludge removal, and chemical metering pumps.
  • Monitor and maintain records of process equipment performance parameters, including ultra-filtration system, paint chiller, R.O water generating plant, and coalescing filters.
  • Assist in the preparation of process capability reports and collect film-thickness data.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure a smooth and efficient production flow.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering technology.
  • 5 years of experience in a process-related environment, preferably in electro coating or plating.
  • Strong knowledge of e-coat materials, processes, and process equipment.
  • Working knowledge of S.P.C, Gage R&R, Calibrations, and Q.O.S.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work a rotational shift.
