About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Financial Analyst to join our team at CAE Inc. As a key member of our Global Cash Management and Financial Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in optimizing our company's liquidity globally.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Short-Term Cash Forecasting: Update and monitor our short-term cash forecast on a daily basis, ensuring accurate predictions and timely adjustments.
  2. Cash Pool Management: Lead daily cash calls and recommend actions to optimize our liquidity, ensuring seamless cash flow and minimizing financial risks.
  3. Intercompany Financing: Support the team in structuring and executing intercompany financings, aligning with business needs and CAE's growth plan.
  4. Cash Repatriation: Recommend, implement, and document cash repatriation initiatives in collaboration with Finance, Tax, and Legal teams, adhering to Corporate Policies and Procedures.
  5. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with various Finance teams at Corporate Office and at CAE entities around the globe, fostering a collaborative environment and achieving common goals.
  6. Process Improvement: Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as process automation, simplification, elimination of duplication, and integration of financial tools.
  7. Financial Reporting: Participate in the financial reporting process, internal and external audits, and prepare various ad hoc analyses as required by senior management and business partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • Master's degree and/or a professional designation (CFA, FRM, CTP), an asset.
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience with an international Treasury department.
  • Experience with a treasury management system, an asset.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with attention to detail and rigor.
  • Well-organized and able to handle simultaneous requests.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and spoken).
