Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Director of Treasury, the Senior Analyst, Treasury will play a pivotal role in overseeing Gildan's daily treasury and cash management functions. This individual will actively contribute to enhancing the department's capabilities across various platforms. The chosen candidate will also assist in the preparation of diverse ad hoc corporate finance analyses and reports concerning treasury-wide issues. This position entails utilizing financial software to ensure the company's fiscal health and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer Gildan's Treasury Management System, Kyriba, alongside other financial software, ensuring data integrity, system updates, and troubleshooting any challenges.
  • Collaborate with different functional areas to enhance working capital management efficiencies and refine the forecasting process, including the expansion of a supply chain financing initiative and the implementation of a global credit card program.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency within treasury processes and support the execution of improvement initiatives, including the adoption of best practices and automation.
  • Execute foreign exchange trades and assist with related matters.
  • Monitor and generate monthly reports on global bank fees.
  • Streamline workflows across various tasks within the treasury function.
  • Support process enhancement projects.
  • Assist in the application of departmental policies and internal controls.
  • Facilitate reporting for Financial Risk Management meetings, monthly mark-to-market assessments, quarterly Board materials, and other ad hoc reporting requirements, including the creation of new reports to meet departmental needs.
  • Assist in the creation of letters of credit.
  • Support bank fee analysis and online banking management.
  • Report on monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline.
  • Professional designation (CPA, CFA, CTP) is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Kyriba is advantageous.
  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate treasury and/or corporate finance.
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities and solid business system understanding.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Enjoyment of collaborative work environments.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and organized.
  • Experience in a large corporation or multinational setting is beneficial.
  • Effective communication skills in both English and French (Spanish is a plus).
  • This position requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers, employees, or markets located outside the province of Quebec or requiring services in a language other than French – primarily English.
