About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Airport Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Airport Security Services. As a Pre-Board Screening Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and airport staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening and Security: Efficiently screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints, using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other technology, as well as physical search techniques.
  • Access Control: Confirm valid boarding passes and protect restricted areas to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Conflict Resolution: Manage conflicts and communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold all regulations and guidelines related to airport security and transportation.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Skills: Provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment, with a minimum of one year of experience.
  • Availability: Be available to work any shift, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in French an asset.
  • Medical Requirements: Meet the CATSA medical requirements.
  • Education: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
