About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Airport Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Airport Security Services. As a Pre-Board Screening Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff at our airport.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening and Security: Efficiently screen passengers and baggage through airport security checkpoints, using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other technology, as well as physical search techniques.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Uphold all regulations and guidelines related to airport security, ensuring the highest level of safety and security at all times.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work collaboratively with other airport staff and security personnel to ensure a smooth and efficient security process.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume customer service environment.
  • Availability: Open availability to work any shift, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
  • Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal; fluency in French is an asset.
  • Medical Requirements: Ability to comply with the CATSA medical requirements.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
