Job Summary

The Inside Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for customers within their defined book of business and territory. This role requires building strong relationships with customers, promoting Citron's services, and working closely with the sales team to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present and promote Citron's products and services to customers within their defined book of business.
  • Manage existing client relationships, grow and retain portfolio revenue in line with company expectations.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM and other company-defined IT systems to effectively manage pipelines, report activity, track sales, and communicate with customers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the Head of North American Sales, Sales Manager, and Operations to manage day-to-day business relationships and ensure Citron's strong footprint within their defined book of business.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests to maximize sales volume and identify service requirements.
  • Carry out market research and maintain knowledge about the hygiene market in the defined territory, including awareness of competitor activity and new legislation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of proven track record of business-to-business selling experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced sales skills, including listening, questioning, summarizing, providing, negotiating, closing, and handling customer concerns.
  • Strong relationship, account management, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Broad business acumen with strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to use and understand sales-related IT systems (SFDC) and use them effectively to manage own performance, pipelines, forecast, and activity.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in a matrix management environment, working closely with sales colleagues in internal, regional, and strategic teams as well as operations, marketing, sales operations, finance, bid team, health and safety, and compliance to achieve business goals.
  • Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in commerce and/or business studies preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience.
  • Industry-relevant sales experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Must be legally entitled to work at the specified location/region without requiring any sponsorship.
  • Conditional to a satisfactory background check.
