Job Description:

The Inside Account Manager acts as the key point of contact for all customers within their defined book of business and territory. They build strong and professional relationships at multiple levels within the customer/prospect organization to maintain and build a strong Citron hygiene footprint within the territory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote, and sell Citron Hygiene products and services to all customers within their defined book of business.
  • Manage existing client relationships using the Citron sales process and defined pricing and policies of Citron, growing and retaining the portfolio revenue in line with company expectations.
  • Use Salesforce CRM and other company-defined IT systems to effectively manage pipelines, report activity, track sales, send contracts to clients, book appointments, and communicate both internally and externally in a professional manner.
  • Work together with the Head of North American Sales, Sales Manager, and Operations, and other company resources to manage the day-to-day business relationship and ensure Citron's strong footprint and leadership within their defined book of business.
  • Attend internal meetings and training fully prepared with relevant customer data on market opportunities, promoting a positive and professional sales attitude in the office and on calls to ensure high standards are maintained for customer service, hygiene, and environmental consciousness.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests to maximize sales volume and identify service requirements.
  • Carry out market research and maintain knowledge about the hygiene market in the defined territory, including awareness of competitor activity and new legislation, sharing with team members and sales leadership teams as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Superior time management and organization skills, strong negotiation skills with discipline to close.
  • Strong relationship, account management, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate intermediate sales skills, especially listening, questioning, summarizing, providing, negotiating, closing, and handling customer concerns.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to develop the skills required to drive customer relationships, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of a proven track record of business-to-business selling experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate advanced sales skills, especially listening, questioning, summarizing, providing, negotiating, closing, and handling customer concerns.
  • Strong at building relationships, account management, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Broad business acumen with strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to use and understand sales-related IT systems (SFDC) and use them effectively to manage own performance, pipelines, forecast, and activity.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in a matrix management environment, working closely with sales colleagues in internal, regional, and strategic teams, as well as operations, marketing, sales operations, finance, bid team, health and safety, and compliance to achieve business goals.
  • Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in commerce and/or business studies preferred, or the equivalent in related work experience.
  • Industry-relevant sales experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Must be legally entitled to work at the specified location/region without requiring any sponsorship.
  • Conditional to a satisfactory background check.
