Role Overview The Senior Project Manager position is integral to the customer engagement division within Granicus' Digital Services Implementation Team. This role is essential for the successful execution of projects aimed at enhancing online services for government agencies. As a Senior Project Manager , you will collaborate closely with clients to help them achieve their strategic goals. Your responsibilities will commence at project initiation, where you will provide a comprehensive project plan, oversee the discovery phase, gather requirements, and ensure clients receive the necessary training for optimal system utilization.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee significant customer projects throughout the implementation lifecycle. Act as the primary liaison for major programs, offering insights on system performance and best practices. Prioritize project initiatives based on organizational needs. Advise clients on improving their online processes, ensuring user experience is prioritized. Monitor progress against milestones and budgetary constraints, preparing reports for senior management. Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans and status reports. Identify potential risks in implementation and propose mitigation strategies. Assess customer business processes to uncover areas for enhancement and implement solutions. Facilitate client utilization of the AMANDA Product through tailored project plans. Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, providing constructive feedback. Collaborate with internal teams to support product delivery and client success.Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum of 5 years in program/project management, preferably in client-facing roles. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a history of fostering strong client relationships. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills with experience in data and trend analysis. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Skilled in conflict resolution and influencing decision-making. Strong organizational skills with experience managing complex projects. Proficient in gathering insights on product performance and market trends. Understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Data-driven and proactive in approach. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Bilingual in French and English, with the ability to obtain a Secret-level clearance from the Canadian Government.Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a program manager for high-touch clients. Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent. Familiarity with remote team dynamics. Knowledge of city/county planning and land-use regulations. Previous experience with the AMANDA product.Compensation
Salary range: $75,000 - $95,000 plus bonuses and benefits. Security Requirement: Candidates must be able to maintain a Secret-level security clearance as per Canadian Government regulations.
