As a Contract Management Specialist, you will work under the Customer Service Manager, participating in the development, proposal, and execution of service programs. Your role involves ensuring that CMC's service processes meet contractual and regulatory requirements and customer expectations in the most effective manner.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all clients regarding contract administration.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to quote and proposal production, customer liaison, internal accounting, administration, financial processes, and applicable reporting requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive service proposals, including preparing terms, compliance matrices, and submission approvals.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations with clients and suppliers.
  • Participate in the procurement process for subcontracted items, such as preparing service proposal requests, product support agreements, service contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Conduct market studies (market trends, competitive intelligence, regulatory issues, product strengths and weaknesses based on customer feedback, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain service catalogues and pricing policies.
  • Contribute to monitoring and planning bookings, sales, and gross margin.
  • Establish and maintain service level agreements with CMC service channels, including suppliers, MROs (maintenance, repair, and overhaul), and parts distribution centers.
  • Monitor internal reporting tools and workflows.
  • Implement necessary changes to achieve the most streamlined process possible.
  • Perform any other related tasks as assigned.

Your Qualifications:

  • Strong negotiation and customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
  • Proficiency in all MS Office software.
  • Thorough knowledge of MRP systems, reporting tools, and related business processes.
  • Reliable, self-sufficient, with a first-time-right mentality.
  • Ability to take responsibility while functioning well in a team environment.
  • Problem-solving skills to address details and complexity while driving results.
  • Experience supporting work teams provides the knowledge to use a common-sense approach to meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • At least seven (7) years of related experience in sales, contracts, or service administration in the aviation services sector or a similar complex industry.
