Role Overview:

In the capacity of a Contract Management Specialist, you will operate under the guidance of the Customer Service Manager, engaging in the formulation, proposal, and implementation of service initiatives. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring that CMC's service protocols align with contractual obligations, regulatory standards, and customer satisfaction in the most efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contract administrator for all clientele.
  • Guarantee adherence to CMC's policies and procedures concerning quote and proposal generation, customer interaction, internal accounting, administration, financial processes, and relevant reporting obligations.
  • Craft service proposals, which include drafting terms, compliance matrices, and securing submission approvals.
  • Engage in contract negotiations with clients and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the procurement process for subcontracted services, including preparing requests for service proposals, product support agreements, service contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitive landscape, regulatory matters, and product strengths and weaknesses based on customer insights.
  • Establish and maintain service catalogs and pricing strategies.
  • Assist in monitoring and planning bookings, sales, and gross margin.
  • Develop and uphold service level agreements with CMC service channels, including suppliers, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers, and parts distribution centers.
  • Oversee internal reporting tools and workflows.
  • Implement necessary adjustments to streamline processes effectively.
  • Perform any additional related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong negotiation and customer relationship management abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Comprehensive understanding of MRP systems, reporting tools, and associated business processes.
  • Dependable, self-sufficient, with a focus on achieving results on the first attempt.
  • Ability to take initiative while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Problem-solving capabilities to navigate complexities while driving outcomes.
  • Experience in supporting work teams, providing the knowledge to apply a common-sense approach to fulfill customer needs and business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in sales, contracts, or service administration within the aviation services sector or a similarly complex industry.
