Job Opportunity for Occupational Therapists

Lifemark's Home and Community Care division, Community Advantage Rehabilitation (CAR), is seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to conduct Independent Living Services (ILS) assessments throughout the province of Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Personal Care Assessments to evaluate clients' daily living needs
  • Perform Home Safety Assessments to identify potential hazards and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Complete Home Accessibility Assessments to determine the feasibility of clients' living environments
  • Conduct Mobility Assessments (A and B) to evaluate clients' mobility and provide recommendations for assistive devices

Requirements:

  • Good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience as an Occupational Therapist
  • Assistive Devices Authorizer (ADP Authorizer) certification for mobility assessments
