Site Health and Safety Manager

Black & McDonald Limited is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager to join its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor compliance with HSE policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate HSE risks.
- Develop and maintain HSE training programs for employees and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) designation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
