Health and Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Black & McDonald Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and clients on our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and awareness sessions to employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near-miss incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers and site managers to ensure effective implementation of health and safety plans.
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and distribute health and safety statistical reports to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in health and safety management in the construction industry.
- Certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC) designation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
