About the Role

Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of International Service Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our international program business, ensuring seamless customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • International Program Servicing: Manage end-to-end international program servicing, including customer service requirements, service proposition, and handling of various service delivery issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide input into the development of customer-specific, value-added services for existing and new customers of moderately complex accounts.
  • Account Management: Act as an account representative, responding to customer service issues and coordinating with the appropriate business partner for resolution.
  • Service Proposition Development: Assist underwriting in documenting the service proposition, including agreed service deliverables and standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Deliverable and problem-solving issues may relate to the domestic and/or international aspects of services related to policy issuance, regulatory requirements, reporting, risk engineering coordination, premium payment processes, claims flow issues, and money/currency movement.
  • Reinsurance Placements: Negotiate and facilitate reinsurance placements with reinsurance carriers.
  • Service Plan Development: Provide input into the development of service plans for prospects and assist in implementing and monitoring service plans for customers.
  • Communication: Attend meetings and monitor business decisions made at meetings to ensure each decision is acted upon in accordance with the outcome of the meeting.
  • Customer Solutions: Provide customer-specific solution management in resolving complaints or handling other service-related challenges.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Service Delivery and commercial insurance area, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Service Delivery area and 2 or more years in the Commercial insurance space.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of domestic and international regulatory requirements, insurance products and services, international business, and the business environment, finance, economics, and reinsurance.
  • Skills: Effective communication skills, strong written and verbal skills, ability to multi-task, strong analytical and planning skills, ability to effectively manage changing priorities, and ability to build networking skills.
