Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to manage the International Program servicing end-to-end, providing exceptional customer service and support to our international program business. As an International Service Specialist, you will be the point of contact for customers and brokers on assigned accounts, providing input into the development of customer-specific services and collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve service delivery issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the International Program servicing end-to-end, including customer service requirements, service proposition, and handling of various service delivery issues.
  • Provide input into the development of customer-specific, value-added services for existing and new customers of moderately complex accounts.
  • Act as an account representative, responding to customer service issues and coordinating with internal stakeholders for resolution.
  • Assist underwriting in documenting the service proposition, including agreed service deliverables and standards.
  • Deliver and problem-solve issues related to policy issuance, regulatory requirements, reporting, risk engineering coordination, premium payment processes, claims flow issues, and money/currency movement.
  • Handle specific requests from Underwriting, reviewing service plan requests, determining feasibility, and implementing customer-focused service solutions.
  • Evaluate loss potential due to catastrophe, severity, and/or frequency.
  • Rate policies and check previously rated policies for proper rating.
  • Assist in developing rates.
  • Coordinate data entry submitted to third-party vendors and perform quality checks on the entry before information is sent to the network.
  • Provide input into the development of service plans for prospects.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring service plans for customers.
  • Negotiate and facilitate reinsurance placements with reinsurance carriers.
  • Support Underwriting on assigned accounts with compliant program structuring options using available tools.
  • Attend meetings and monitor business decisions made at meetings to ensure each decision is acted upon in accordance with the outcome of the meeting.
  • Attend external meetings with Underwriters to showcase and explain service and value propositions.
  • Provide customer-specific solution management in resolving complaints or handling other service-related challenges.
  • Prepare service presentations as required.
Job Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in Service Delivery and commercial insurance. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Service Delivery and commercial insurance area.
  • OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Service Delivery area and 2 or more years in the Commercial insurance space.
  • AND Knowledge of domestic and international regulatory requirements.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of insurance products and services, international business.
  • Knowledge of the business environment, finance, economics, and reinsurance.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage changing priorities.
  • Ability to build networking skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
