Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties in the Downtown Eastside area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Regular Site Patrols: Conduct regular foot patrols of the site to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Evict Loiterers: Evict any loiterers that are blocking entrances or stairwells, ensuring the safe and secure movement of clients and staff.
  • Attend Incidents: Attend to incidents, de-escalate situations, and write detailed reports as required.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Interact with clients and the general public, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their safety and security.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as required to meet operational needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum One Year of Work Experience: Minimum one year of work experience in the security industry.
  • Reliable Personal Vehicle: Reliable personal vehicle to commute to the site as transit is not available at the shift's start time.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication, customer service, professionalism, and observation skills.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to stand and/or patrol for the majority of a shift, including indoors, outdoors, in all weather conditions, up and down stairwells, and over uneven surfaces.
