As a Proposal Content Specialist, you will play a crucial role in authoring and managing bid documents that are vital to our organization's success. Your duties will encompass the complete process of coordination, writing, editing, and managing technical and functional proposals to assist our Sales team in securing new business opportunities across North America. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive writing experience and outstanding communication skills to elevate our proposal writing and coordination efforts. A passion for the written word and an ability to view content from the audience's perspective are essential.

Successful candidates will allocate approximately 70% of their time to crafting, refining, and enhancing RFP content (including authoring responses to questions, supporting documents, and technical materials), 25% managing the proposal process, and 5% gathering data for proposal dashboards.

Key Responsibilities

· Develop, maintain, and enhance our technical and functional responses within our online repository.

· Conduct thorough analyses of RFP/RFQ/RFI documents to evaluate requirements.

· Collaborate with product management, documentation teams, and subject matter experts to prepare compelling copy and generate persuasive responses to RFPs, RFIs, and Technical Questionnaires.

· Review final proposal documents to ensure they meet evaluation criteria and are comprehensive.

· Craft engaging proposal narratives that highlight the value of our company and products.

· Oversee multiple proposal submissions and responses simultaneously, including leading kickoff meetings and coordinating with stakeholder teams.

· Translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive, and concise responses.

· Evaluate proposal responses for content flow, organization, compliance with requests, formatting, grammar, and a unified tone of voice.

Required Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a SaaS-based software environment as a:

o RFP Writer or Content Creator

o Technical Writer

o Technical Support or Customer Service Representative

· A curious mindset with a passion for uncovering answers by engaging with various stakeholders to author and validate responses effectively.

· Strong writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities are essential.

· Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.

· Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently without close supervision.

· Proficient in converting complex technical information into easily understandable language for a general audience.

· Entrepreneurial spirit, confidence, and self-motivation with a proactive approach.
