Logistics Supervisor Job Description

BEST CHOICE TRUCKING LTD is seeking a skilled Logistics Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on logistics performance and operations.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used in logistics operations.
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on logistics equipment and vehicles.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit and hire staff to support logistics operations.
  • Train workers in duties and policies related to logistics operations.
  • Arrange training for staff to improve their skills and knowledge in logistics operations.
  • Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting performance expectations.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient logistics operations.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in logistics operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school graduation certificate.
