Your Role:

Based in our Ontario office, we are seeking an entry-level IT Support Specialist to assist with various responsibilities. This position will involve supporting multiple branches by troubleshooting and setting up diverse hardware. There is significant potential for career advancement within our Information Technology division, as our operations heavily rely on our applications and technology.

IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and provide support for desktop computers, laptops, and printers, along with their associated applications.
  2. Assist with remote access infrastructure, including VPN and mobile device support.
  3. Manage user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD.
  4. Prioritize and manage support requests through a ticketing system.
  5. Address issues that arise during or after standard working hours, as required.
  6. Document tasks and solutions to enhance the knowledge base.

Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in an IT support role.
  2. Diploma in computer science, DEP in computer support, or equivalent training.
  3. Experience with Active Directory and Exchange account management.
  4. Familiarity with remote access tools such as TeamViewer, RDS, Citrix, etc.
  5. Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  6. Experience with Windows servers (2012/2016/2019).
  7. Knowledge of Microsoft Autopilot and/or Intune.
  8. Understanding of Networking Principles and Windows Domains.
  9. Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  10. Experience in supporting smartphones.
  11. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  12. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  13. Customer service-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  14. Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  15. Spanish language skills are considered an asset.
