Job Title: Senior Research Methodologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Methodologist to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on research methodologies and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, develop, and conduct advanced research and knowledge translation projects, and carry out data analysis for clinical, methodologic, health services research and knowledge translation activities for cancer control.
  • Provide coordination, direction, and leadership to designated staff on relevant day-to-day issues with respect to cancer control research and knowledge translation projects.
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, and development of a framework for research and data management, scientific analysis and knowledge translation, to achieve cancer control goals.
  • Synthesize and promote the utilization of research findings through knowledge translation strategies.
  • Develop, write, coordinate, and edit scientific manuscripts, reports, and other knowledge translation products.
Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public or Population Health, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years' related experience in a population health or academic research environment.
  • Experience with qualitative and mixed methods research and knowledge of related software.
  • Advanced knowledge of population health research issues and demonstrated competence in the application of epidemiologic, health services, and statistical methods to cancer control studies.
