Job Title: Senior Research Methodologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Methodologist to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on research methodologies and data analysis to support cancer control initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced research and knowledge translation projects to inform cancer control policies and practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and conduct studies, and analyze data to inform decision-making.
  • Provide training and education to staff and stakeholders on research methodologies and data interpretation.
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and knowledge translation activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research methods and technologies to ensure the highest quality research outputs.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public or Population Health, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a population health or academic research environment.
  • Experience with qualitative and mixed methods research, and knowledge of related software.
  • Advanced knowledge of population health research issues, and demonstrated competence in the application of epidemiologic, health services, and statistical methods to cancer control studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
