Job Title: Research Methodologist

BC Cancer is seeking a highly skilled Research Methodologist to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for designing, conducting, and analyzing population-based epidemiologic, clinical, and health services research for cancer control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement research plans, addressing data issues and identifying statistical approaches.
  • Conduct cancer control research projects, including data analysis and interpretation, and presenting research results to health care professionals and stakeholders.
  • Document research findings in scientific manuscripts and research reports for dissemination to researchers and partners.
  • Prepare abstracts, posters, and oral presentations for submission to scientific conferences.
  • Contribute to knowledge transfer activities and develop research grant proposals and reports.
Requirements:
  • Masters' Degree in Epidemiology, Public or Population Health, Statistics, Biostatistics, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of one to two years of recent related experience in a population health or academic research environment.
  • Knowledge of population health research issues, epidemiologic, health services, and statistical methods, and study design, data collection, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
