We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Methodologist to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on research methodologies and data analysis, as well as developing and implementing research projects to advance cancer control in British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement research projects to advance cancer control in British Columbia, including planning, conducting, and analyzing data.
  • Provide expert guidance on research methodologies and data analysis to research team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with research team members, stakeholders, and external partners to develop and implement research projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and policymakers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research methods and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve research practices and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Epidemiology, Public or Population Health, Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a population health or academic research environment.
  • Experience with qualitative and mixed methods research, as well as knowledge of related software.
  • Advanced knowledge of population health research issues, and demonstrated competence in the application of epidemiologic, health services, and statistical methods to cancer control studies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
