Job Title: Landscaping Foreman/Woman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscaping Foreman/Woman to join our team at Clintar Landscape Management. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Supervise and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of grounds maintenance professionals, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans for our clients' properties, including lawn care, tree service, and snow removal.
  • Organize and Direct Construction Projects: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other outdoor features, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and track work hours, materials, and equipment usage, providing valuable insights for future projects.
  • Read Blueprints and Drawings: Interpret and implement design plans for outdoor construction projects, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring it remains in good working condition.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment and Supplies: Source and procure necessary materials and equipment for projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to team members, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures, ensuring seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong understanding of grounds maintenance and construction principles.
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence and own transportation, with a clean driving record.
  • Steel-Toed Safety Boots: Wear steel-toed safety boots and other personal protective equipment as required.
  • Excellent Oral Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Client Focus: Demonstrate a strong client focus, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality results.
