Job Summary

The Level III Building Technician is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for maintaining and repairing systems, equipment, and installations across our global portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of facility operation and maintenance processes, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and other building systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Inspect and maintain systems, equipment, and facilities to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Coordinate with contractors and third-party suppliers to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Support the operations team in carrying out other types of preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Administer and monitor service contracts assigned by the Property Manager, including inspections and reporting.
  • Participate in health and safety activities, including coordinating work permits and reporting incidents/accidents.
Requirements
  • High school diploma and/or vocational training and/or certification or license.
  • Good knowledge of facility operation and maintenance processes and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and other building systems and equipment.
  • Strong environmental, health, and safety mindset.
  • Strong customer orientation and sense of urgency.
  • Effective communication skills for relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification of data.
  • Ability to work shifts, be available for emergency/standby calls, and emergency calls as they arise.
  • Ability to obtain appropriate security clearance.
