About the Role

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Industrial Technician to join our team. As an Industrial Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment and safety devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare repair or service quotes for authorized work orders
  • Examine plans/schematics and specifications to determine required materials and/or repair sequence
  • Identify and determine primary equipment problems in a timely manner
  • Test equipment to confirm operational performance and complete required documentation
  • Use a variety of manual and electrical tools - tool box
  • Maintain inventory of parts and work area in an organized manner
  • Ability to work in a workshop and interact with clients during on-site visits and office work
  • Actively participate and contribute to safety meetings
  • Support actively the company's principles by encouraging the team to suggest new ideas, be responsible for actions, work in a team, and stay up-to-date on new products and opportunities
  • Observe company safety policies and procedures and any other relevant legislation applicable
  • Other tasks and responsibilities may be required

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • A post-secondary education in a technical or business field is preferred
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to perform multiple tasks and manage diverse priorities
  • Must obtain 2 manufacturer-designated certifications within the first year of employment
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience in mechanical aptitude is preferred
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and resourceful
  • Good math skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
  • Ability and desire to work in a team
  • Proven ability to work with various computer programs
  • Valid driver's license, on-road requirements (company truck available)
  • Valid passport and possibility of traveling to the United States for training, certification purposes
  • English and French required as the role supports and interacts with team members from all Canadian provinces
