Industrial Operations Manager

Job Summary:
The Services Supervisor will lead a team of Certified Industrial Technicians in a fast-paced repair center environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely execution of all Industrial Technician activities, while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and lead a team of up to 15 employees
- Supervise the day-to-day operation and leadership of the Industrial Technicians team
- Problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues
- Develop and maintain positive employee, customer, and cross-functional team relations
- Implement departmental changes to optimize workflow
- Drive team member engagement and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Monitor and maintain Industrial Technicians Certificates and Training
- Ensure quality and turnaround commitments are met
- Hold the team accountable for customer service and productivity
- Act as liaison between Industrial Technicians and SIRs
- Ensure efficient assignment and dispatch of service work orders
- Manage Inventory and Service Parts
- Process warranty repair work and vendor credits
- Develop and track Key Performance Indicators for the Industrial Technicians
- Ensure safety policies and procedures are met
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Diploma or equivalent demonstrated work experience, minimum 7-10 years, preferably in a repair center
- Diploma or equivalent technical certificate with technical/industrial service, preferably Safety/Fire/MRO
- Minimum 1-2 years prior experience leading a team
- Proven track record of positive coaching, team building, training, and development of direct reports
- Strong leadership qualities, good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Proven skills in time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work independently and travel as part of the role
- Proficient computer skills and aptitude, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of S.A.P. and industrial/safety products is an asset
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- English and French required
