Industrial Equipment Maintenance Opportunity

UniFirst Canada is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to handle repairs, maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, systems, and components. As a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department, you will work a standard Monday - Friday schedule and have access to on-the-job training.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, systems, and components
  • Assist other maintenance personnel with emergency and non-emergency repairs
  • Follow blueprints, schematics, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
  • Perform daily and weekly safety checks on equipment and make necessary repairs
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year work experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment required
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics required
  • Basic computer and Microsoft office skills required
  • Experience using Hand & Power tools required
