Executive Director Opportunity

The Denise House / Sedna Women's Shelter & Support Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Executive Director to lead our organization in providing essential services to women, children, and youth affected by violence.

About the Role:

  • Lead the organization in its mission to ensure the human rights of all women
  • Oversee the provision of safe shelter and supportive programs for women and their children
  • Develop and implement strategies to address intimate partner violence and gender-based violence
  • Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and stakeholders
  • Manage change associated with organizational growth and transitions

Requirements:

  • University-level degree in social work, healthcare administration, or equivalent
  • Experience in non-profit management, social service work, or public administration
  • Strong understanding of intimate partner violence and gender-based violence
  • Ability to work with government agencies and stakeholders
  • Passion for serving survivors of domestic violence
