Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize your analytical skills to assess claim histories and validate requests for information. Review authorizations to confirm that representatives are properly authorized to access claim file information. Evaluate incoming requests to determine their validity and the eligibility of the requestor. Compile requests and assemble claim file components within a secure digital framework. Release claim files electronically, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies. Meet monthly accuracy and statistical targets, demonstrating commitment to quality work. Manage a dynamic workload in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with team members. Address customer inquiries effectively to minimize service delays. Maintain business applications with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality. Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Work Coordinator or Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

A high school diploma, with experience in an office and customer service setting preferred. Familiarity with WCB legislation, policies, and procedures is advantageous. Understanding of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience with business computer applications, including internal WCB software, is a plus. Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment while managing a high volume of work and meeting deadlines. Strong reliability and time management skills are essential for success in this role. Capability to exercise independent judgment and work with minimal supervision. Exceptional attention to detail.

Salary: Grade 4 Start Rate: $44,091 to Job Rate: $48,993 per annum

This is a temporary, full-time position with the potential for extension or permanent placement. Candidates may be required to complete computer testing as part of the selection process.

Final candidates will undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment.
