Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Utilize your analytical skills to evaluate claim histories and assess the legitimacy of Access to Information (ATI) requests. Verify authorizations to ensure that representatives are properly authorized and that the correct permissions have been granted for accessing claim file information. Assess incoming requests to determine the validity and eligibility of requestors seeking claim information. Generate requests and compile necessary components of claim files within WCB's secure digital framework. Release claim files electronically, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in accordance with WCB policies. Achieve accuracy and statistical targets on a monthly basis, demonstrating your commitment to quality work. Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing your workload while collaborating with team members to prioritize tasks. Address issues and communicate with clients to prevent unnecessary service delays. Maintain business applications with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Work Coordinator and/or Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

A high school diploma, with experience in an office and customer service setting preferred. Familiarity with WCB legislation, policies, and procedures is advantageous. Understanding of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act is beneficial. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required. Experience with business computer applications, including internal WCB software, is a plus. Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment while managing a high volume of work and meeting deadlines. Strong reliability and time management skills are essential for success in this role. Capability to exercise independent judgment and work with minimal supervision. Exceptional attention to detail is crucial.

Compensation:

Grade 4 Start Rate: $44,091 to Job Rate: $48,993 per annum

This is a temporary, full-time position with the potential for extension or permanency. Candidates may be required to complete computer testing as part of the selection process.

Final candidates will undergo a security clearance as a condition of employment.
