Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Rock Country Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional repair and maintenance services for our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions, and perform repairs and adjustments as needed.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Diagnose and repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, to ensure vehicles are running at optimal levels.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Complete Reports: Accurately complete reports to record problems and work performed, and communicate with customers and management as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
  • Valid Driver's Licence: Possess a valid driver's licence
