Assistant Teaching Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis

The Department of Psychology at the University of New Brunswick is seeking applications for a 9-month appointment at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis. The successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Psychology with a robust foundation in Applied Behavior Analysis or a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis complemented by a strong background in psychology. Candidates who are nearing the completion of their Ph.D. will also be considered.
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is mandatory by the time of appointment. The individual selected for this role will be responsible for teaching four undergraduate courses, including Foundations of Learning, Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical and Organizational Applications of Behavior Science, and one additional course to be determined in collaboration with the Department Chair.
Moreover, the successful candidate will oversee the Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate Program, which includes advising both current and prospective students, coordinating the placement and supervision of practicum students, and supervising undergraduate research.
The Department of Psychology offers both BA and BSc majors and honors programs in psychology and biology-psychology, along with PhD programs in Clinical Psychology (CPA accredited) and Psychology.
