Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Assistant Professor in Business Law to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory and upper-level courses on Business Law and Corporate Governance to undergraduate and graduate students.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business Law and Corporate Governance courses to undergraduate and graduate students
  • Develop and maintain an established research agenda in Business Law and Corporate Governance
  • Contribute to the development of the Business Schools Association of Canada (BSAC) curriculum
  • Participate in departmental and faculty service activities

Requirements:

  • PhD in Law or a related field
  • Master's degree in Law with a focus on corporate and commercial law or a related field
  • Business degree (BBA, MBA, or equivalent)
  • Experience in the practice of law
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in university teaching or evidence of the potential to develop such a record
