The Business Schools Association of Canada (BSAC) is seeking applications for a 12-month Term Assistant Professor specializing in Business Law. This role will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor and is expected to commence shortly.
Applicants should possess a degree in Business (BBA, MBA, or equivalent) alongside a Master's degree in Law, particularly with a concentration in corporate and commercial law or a related discipline. Practical experience in the legal field will be regarded as advantageous.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of excellence in higher education instruction or show potential for developing such a record. The successful applicant must be capable of delivering both introductory and advanced courses in Business Law and Corporate Governance at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Applications should include a cover letter, an updated curriculum vitae, evidence of teaching effectiveness (if applicable), a concise statement of teaching philosophy, and the names and contact information for three academic references. All application materials should be submitted accordingly.
Short-listed candidates will be required to provide satisfactory proof of credentials, including certified translations of qualifications into English, if necessary.
