The Department of Psychology at the University of New Brunswick seeks a dedicated Assistant Teaching Professor with expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis.
This 9-month appointment will begin upon successful completion of all hiring processes and is contingent upon budgetary approval.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction in four undergraduate courses, including Foundations of Learning, Introduction to Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical and Organizational Applications of Behavior Science, and one additional course determined in consultation with the Chair.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students enrolled in the Applied Behavior Analysis Certificate Program, encompassing advising current and prospective students, coordinating practicum placements and supervision, and overseeing undergraduate student research projects.
Your Qualifications:
- A Ph.D. in Psychology with a strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis or a Ph.D. in Applied Behavior Analysis with a solid foundation in psychology. Applicants nearing completion of their Ph.D. will be considered.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the time of appointment is mandatory.
