Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that all food and service meet our high quality standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training new employees, and maintaining accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
