Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment: Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The successful candidate must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.

Language: English

Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week
