Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a workforce of up to 30 staff members, including 2 direct reports (supervisors), to meet operational objectives and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee the inventory management process, ensuring optimal stock levels and reducing waste.
  • Manage the complete recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding new team members.
  • Develop and uphold standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure consistency and efficiency in all operations.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Implement employee and customer incentive programs to foster engagement and loyalty, including discounts on all products (fuel, car wash, market, convenience store).
  • Utilize your expertise in fuel station operations to supervise maintenance tasks, such as repairing fuel pumps, maintaining the car wash, and conducting preventative maintenance.
  • Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.
  • Approve timesheets and oversee payroll processes in accordance with company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of management experience in a fuel station environment.
  • Proven track record in inventory management and ordering.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide teams in a 24/7 operation.
  • Familiarity with the complete recruitment cycle and experience in hiring and onboarding personnel.
  • Demonstrated capability to create and maintain SOPs and checklists.
  • Passion for coaching and developing teams to reach their maximum potential.
  • Experience in designing and implementing employee and customer incentive programs.
  • Hands-on experience in fuel station operations, including maintenance tasks.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing employee schedules.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
