Job Title: Gas Station Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Gas Station Supervisor to join our team at B.C. As a key member of our retail business, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas station, ensuring a positive customer experience, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and allocate tasks to sales staff to ensure seamless customer service and efficient sales processes.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales workers who embody our company values and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Authorize Payments and Order Merchandise: Process payments, manage inventory, and order merchandise to maintain a well-stocked and attractive store environment.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business demands.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and operational metrics to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Resolve Customer Issues: Address customer complaints, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service to maintain a positive reputation.
  • Organize and Maintain Inventory: Effectively manage inventory levels, track stock, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate a team of sales workers, ensuring they work together efficiently to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, retail business, on-site customer service.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
