Position Overview
The Technical Training Coordinator for Europe will be responsible for overseeing all technical training initiatives related to the maintenance organization, providing essential guidance and mentorship to the maintenance personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement personalized training plans for new AMO staff.
- Develop and manage training strategies to promote career advancement for existing AMO personnel.
- Monitor ongoing training programs for maintenance technicians and offer support as needed.
- Coordinate all classroom and on-the-job (OJT) maintenance training events, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards outlined in the MTCE-M01 Maintenance Policy Manual.
- Adhere to the TRG-M07 Initial Maintenance Training Syllabus and the Maintenance Training Standards Manual (MTCE-M07).
- Deliver training within the RAMCO software system.
- Ensure completion of training requirements for qualifications and signing authorities (SCA/ACA) as per the Maintenance Training Standards Manual (MTCE-M07).
- Guarantee that all maintenance staff are trained in the relevant sections of the Top Aces Management system (TAMS).
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Training System Coordinator to maintain employee technical training records using the LMS (Absorb) software.
- Assist in the development of maintenance training course materials and content in conjunction with the Airworthiness Department as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulation requirements for aircraft maintenance and certification.
- Experience in training within aviation maintenance or a related field.
- Familiarity with the management system of a Canadian AMO.
- Quality Assurance or Maintenance Management experience is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of AMO maintenance management software is a plus.
Security Clearance Requirements:
This position necessitates clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to access the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
