Job Responsibilities
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks across various systems, including but not limited to:

  • HVAC systems and electrical installations
  • Refrigeration units
  • Fire and Life Safety (FLS) equipment
  • General building upkeep, including furniture and fixtures
  • Painting and repairs
  • Kitchen and laundry machinery
  • Low voltage (LV) systems
  • Guest accommodations
  • Food and Beverage outlets
  • Function and banquet areas
  • Plumbing and drainage systems

Key Duties
- Engage with engineering management and team leaders to identify potential enhancements for operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with engineering management and team leaders regarding any service interruptions.
- Consistently apply safe work practices, effective methods, and appropriate preventative maintenance and repair techniques.
- Adhere to hotel and departmental policies and procedures at all times.
- Be thoroughly knowledgeable about hotel fire and life safety/emergency protocols.
- Undertake other reasonable tasks as assigned by hotel management.
