Lone Wolf is on the lookout for a forward-thinking Head of Data Strategy to enhance our growing team.
In this crucial position, you will be tasked with steering the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for our analytical capabilities; utilizing data from various sectors of the organization to narrate comprehensive data stories that deliver essential insights for decision-making to our users. Furthermore, you will champion the adoption and development of BI services, AI, and Predictive Analytics to lead our users toward success. Ultimately, consolidating this information around user interactions within our platform will enable Lone Wolf to pinpoint areas for software enhancement and address business requirements and use cases.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect requirements from both internal and external experts, collaborating with the product owner to document business rules and use cases for new and existing Lone Wolf products.
- Work together to outline the scope and review with Product Management to ensure design requirements and technical specifications are fulfilled.
- Develop use cases and evaluate test cases to guarantee sufficient test coverage.
- Facilitate design sessions, contributing to the overall design of new and existing products.
- Engage directly with internal department leaders to deliver outstanding implementation, training, and support to clients.
- Assist in identifying and resolving design issues to enhance usability.
- Contribute content for the creation of all product documentation (including marketing materials, product specifications, user manuals, etc.).
- Present on topics such as product demonstrations for both internal and external audiences.
- Manage tasks to adhere to the assigned project timelines for your specific team.
- Oversee and direct the strategy for a product line through regular product, customer, and market analysis.
- Transform product ideas into actionable processes for development and market launch.
- Ensure your team effectively manages the development backlog of features and issues for your respective products.
- Engage in the Agile process and ensure your team possesses expertise in your product and its users.
- Guide and mentor your team on effective product planning functions (user story creation, development prioritization, and project management).
- Drive and own the product vision for reporting, including standardization of templates, dashboards, data visualization, and impact measurement frameworks.
- Define and track success measures for your product capabilities from inception throughout the product lifecycle.
- Continuously enhance and develop best practices by monitoring industry trends and innovation opportunities.
- University degree or College Diploma.
- 5 years of experience in a Product Manager/Director role.
- Experience in managing other product personnel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with multiple departments and subject matter experts.
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent follow-up skills are essential.
- A technical inclination for grasping technical concepts and simplifying them.
- Experience utilizing a development task management system for backlog prioritization.
- Experience collaborating closely with development teams in launching products to market.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with JIRA is preferred.
- Knowledge of GIT is preferred.
- Understanding of SCRUM and its interaction with the project lifecycle is preferred.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with remote teams is preferred.
- Experience in the real estate sector or with real estate brokerages is preferred.
- Occasional travel may be necessary.
