Job Title: Head of Product, Data

We are seeking an experienced Product Leader to oversee our Data Platforms, driving innovation and growth through cloud-native data and machine learning capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and drive the overall strategy for our Data Platforms, ensuring alignment with company goals and delivering value for users.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of data platform products, including data movement technologies, data lakes, and analytical data systems.
  • Own the strategy and product development for Business Intelligence (BI) tooling and analytics, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for data analysis and visualization.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Product Managers, creating an integrated strategy across products and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics, to ensure our data platforms meet their needs and drive business value.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of data platform products and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing data platforms or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data movement technologies, data lakes, analytical data systems, and ML development and analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and a demonstrated ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience in leading and collaborating with senior stakeholders and a multi-quarter roadmap with iterative value delivery.
  • Demonstrable ability to be technically hands-on, up to architecting high-level system plans.
