Kitchen Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Cumin Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
- Plan and execute menu items, including preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Kitchen Operations
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are properly maintained and cleaned.
- Inventory Management
- Manage inventory levels of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Monitor and control costs associated with food, supplies, and equipment.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform their duties effectively.
- Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and address any issues or concerns.
- Quality Control
- Ensure that all food prepared and served meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Monitor and address any food safety or quality control issues that may arise.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
