JOB OVERVIEW

The Bloom Group is seeking a dedicated Case Planning Support Specialist to facilitate and enhance case planning services aimed at assisting women and children facing crises. Under the guidance of the Support Services Coordinator, this role is essential in ensuring that clients receive timely access to vital resources and housing solutions, with the overarching goal of minimizing the duration of homelessness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate case planning services for women and children in need.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational policies.
  • Empower clients by connecting them with necessary supports and housing options.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of experience in providing support to women and children in challenging situations.
  • Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of program development and assessment.
  • Certification in First Aid and crisis intervention is mandatory.
DESIRED SKILLS
  • Excellent communication abilities in English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Capability to deliver both individual and group counseling.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement.
