Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Crisis Response Nurse to join our team in North Vancouver, BC. As a Crisis Response Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing mental health and addictions care to clients within our designated program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide mental health status exams and risk assessments for designated client population.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including crisis intervention and case management.
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in team meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement activities to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Three (3) years' recent related experience providing treatment services to individuals with mental health and substance use issues.
- Valid BC Driver's License and ability to travel locally.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate electronic medical records and other software applications.
