Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Contigo Tacobar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, including menu items and specials.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, including ordering and receiving deliveries.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment, or equivalent experience.
- Language: English.
- Culinary Skills: Proficiency in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including Mexican cuisine.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
