Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Operations Supervisor to oversee our retail establishment. This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Work Environment

The role is based in a non-smoking retail service environment located in a rural area. The position involves on-site customer service and may include responsibilities at a gas bar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices and team members.
  • Delegate tasks to sales personnel effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills.
  • Manage inventory and order merchandise as needed.
  • Authorize returns and manage customer service issues.
  • Create and maintain work schedules for the team.
  • Engage in selling merchandise and promoting store offerings.
  • Compile reports regarding sales performance and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages efficiently.
  • Maintain organized inventory and oversee cash management.
Supervision

This position involves supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Outlook is required.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience. A criminal record check is necessary for this role.

Transportation Requirements

Applicants must have their own transportation, as public transit is not available.
