To excel in this role, candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.

  • Job type: Full-Time | Temporary for 3 months with the possibility of permanent hire
  • Pay: $40- $50/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provides assistance in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
  • Ensures that sound supply chain and procurement processes are followed, project implementation methodologies are deployed and implementation is completed in accordance with the client's process, documentation, and governance.
  • Responsible for completing daily inventory runs to purchase requisitions for re-stocking and work order requirements.
  • Responsible for sourcing materials for inventory, maintenance, and operations utilizing the RFQ process.
  • Reviews and processes quotes received from suppliers, including price, delivery, Incoterms, and material verification.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or certification in supply chain management preferred, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement environment.
  • Knowledge of contracts, procure-to-pay (P2P) lifecycle, and reporting metrics.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Investigative and analytical skills to achieve root cause problem identification and solution.
